Využití moderních technologií v terapii pacientů s Alzheimerovou chorobou

Abstract

Tato práce je zaměřena na nové přístupy v oblasti kognitivní rehabilitace neurodegenerativních onemocnění, konkrétněji pak Alzheimerovy choroby. První část práce seznamuje čtenáře s onemocněním, čím je způsobeno, jaké jsou možnosti diagnostiky, nebo jak my sami můžeme minimalizovat riziko. Následně si představíme současné možnosti léčby farmakologického i nefarmakologického charakteru včetně přístupů s využitím moderních technologií, a jak konkrétně se na vývoji v tomto odvětví podepsala celosvětová pandemie Covidu-19. Kromě toho se zaměříme i na nedostatky moderních léčebných technologií a jaké jsou předpoklady pro jejich úspěšné léčebné využití. V další části si blíže představíme zdravotnický prostředek Homebalance, který v této práci zastupuje přístup u skupiny pacientů s Alzheimerovou demencí s využitím moderních technologií. Popíšeme si také příkladové terapie srovnávací skupiny s Alzheimerovou demencí bez moderních technologií. Tyto přístupy byly vyhodnoceny na základě testování testem EQ-5D-5L a testem POBAV, jejichž data byla statisticky zpracována, a poskytly nám tak podklady pro srovnání použitých metod. Toto vyhodnocení bude blíže popsáno v následující kapitole Výsledky, na kterou dále navážeme diskuzí s dalšími zdroji, až se dostaneme k samotnému závěru práce.

This work is focused on new approaches in the field of cognitive rehabilitation for neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Alzheimer's disease. The first part of the work introduces the reader to the disease, what causes it, what the diagnostic options are and how we can minimize the risk ourselves. In conclusion, we will present the current possibilities of pharmaceutical and non-pharmacological treatment, including approaches using modern technologies, and how specifically the development in this sector has been affected by the global Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, we will also focus on the shortcomings of modern medical technologies and the prerequisites for their successful medical use. In the next part, we will introduce the Homebalance medical device in more detail, which in this work represents an approach for a group of patients with Alzheimer's dementia using modern technologies. We will also describe example therapies for a comparison group with AD without modern technologies. These approaches were evaluated on the basis of EQ-5D-5L and POBAV test testing, the main data were statistically processed, which also provided us with the basis for comparing the used methods. This evaluation will be further described in the following chapter Results, which we will follow up with a discussion with other sources and then we reach the very conclusion of the work.
