Webová aplikace pro pořádání chrtích dostihů Dog-Go

Abstract

Hlavním cílem této práce je vytvořit kompletní webovou aplikaci, která pořadatelům podstatně zjednoduší organizaci psích závodů. Zároveň majitelům psů usnadní přihlašování svých jedinců do závodů a nabídne jim přehled o nadcházejících akcích. V současnosti neexistuje v České republice žádný obdobný systém. Při volbě použitých technologií jsem kladl důraz především na programátorský komfort - chtěl jsem použít technologie, které jsou moderní, ale zároveň již prověřené časem. Klientská část aplikace je napsaná za pomoci knihovny React. Se servrovou částí aplikace psanou v modulárním frameworku NestJs komunikuje pomocí HTTP/2. Datová vrstva se opírá o databázi MongoDB a sdílenou cache Redis. V závěru této práce popisuji zkušenosti s provozem této aplikace na několika testovacích závodech a shrnuji, co aplikaci čeká v budoucnu.

Main goal of this thesis is to create a complete web application, which will substantially simplify organization of dog races for organizers. Another goal is to simplify signing up for race events and present owners with information about upcoming races. At the time of writing there is no other system liek that in Czech Republic. When choosing technological stack my main criteria was ease of use - I wanted to use technologies that are modern, but also proven by time. Client side of this application is written with support of React library. It communicates with server side written in modular framework NestJs over HTTP/2. Data layer consists of MongoDB and shared Redis cache. Last part of this thesis consists of evaluation of my experience with using this application for a couple of real world races and summarizes my plans for future of this application.
