The presented master’s thesis deals with the lateral torsional buckling of perforated cold formed channel sections. The final work contains four parts — overview of lateral torsional buckling, cold-formed channel sections and calculations of this channels; laboratory experiments; finite element simulation and conclusion. The aim of the thesis is to investigate the behaviour of channel MT-60. The part with laboratory experiments includes static bending test and tensile test for MT-60. The part with finite element simulation deals with the model of MT-60, which is corresponds to experiment. Furthermore, the conclusion part has a condition, when it may be ignored to calculate with lateral torsional buckling effects.cze
