Diplomový projekt bytového domu v Basileji reaguje na aktuální požadavky rozrůstající se města. Objekt nahrazuje původní objekty bez velké architektonické kvality a nízké užitné kapacity za novou současnou architekturu, která umožňuje urbanisticky otevřít vnitroblok pro veřejnost a otevřít cestu dalším projektům v řešeném bloku. Budova je charakterizována především díky jejímu členění výškových úrovní v rámci objektu, které jsou důsledkem reakce dvojího charakteru odstupu od parteru. Členění se projevuje zejména na fasádě balkóny, které dynamicky vystupují z fasády a člení budovu vertikálně. Noční zóna objektu je orientována do klidného vnitrobloku, který poskytuje klidné soukromí. Konstrukční systém je stěnový železobetonový a tento charakter se projevuje i z exteriéru při využití sendvičové železobetonové fasády. The Diploma projeject of the Apartment building in Basel reacts to the current need of the city to grow. The new The diploma project of the Basel apartment building responds to the current demands of the growing city. The building replaces the original buildings without great architectural quality and low usable capacity with a new contemporary architecture that allows the urbanistic opening of the inner block to the public and paves the way for other projects in the block. The building is characterized primarily by its articulation of height levels within the building, which are the result of the response of the dual character of the setback from the ground floor. The articulation is particularly evident on the façade with balconies that dynamically protrude from the façade and articulate the building vertically. The night zone of the building is oriented to a quiet courtyard that provides quiet privacy. The structural system is wall reinforced concrete and this character is also reflected on the exterior with the use of a sandwich reinforced concrete façade.
