Methods of upper limb rehabilitation exercise assessment using Xsens sensors: The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the analysis of upper limb rehabilitation exercise according to the PNF method. The exercise was evaluated using data obtained from 4 wearable Xsens gyro-accelerometers which provided linear acceleration and angular velocity data. Methods for automatic segmentation of exercise parts were presented, but they were not robust enough, therefore manual segmentation was subsequently started. The methods of nonlinear analysis were used for the evaluation of the exercise, namely Recurrent Quantification Analysis and Hurst Exponent. Furthermore, visualization using trajectory length was used. According to statistical significance, the 3 best parameters for the evaluation of linear acceleration and 3 parameters for the evaluation of angular acceleration, which was obtained by deriving the originally measured signal, were selected from the output parameters of the analyzes. The most suitable position of the sensor on the upper limb and the most suitable axis for the evaluation of movement were selected. The aim was to find out and statistically evaluate the differences in the exercise between the initial and final measurements of individual groups depending on the method of two-week training. The total number of statistically significantly different parameter pairs (determinism, laminarity and trajectory length) was 17 out of 45 pairs for the left hand and 5 out of 45 pairs for the right hand for the resultant linear acceleration vector. The total number of statistically significantly different parameter pairs (determinism, clustering coefficient and trajectory length) was 16 pairs out of 45 for the left hand and 2 pairs out of 45 for the right hand for the resultant angular acceleration vector.
