Komplikace způsobené nošením kontaktních čoček

Abstract

Teoretická část bakalářské práce shrnuje základní informace o vhodném způsobu zacházení s kontaktními čočkami, jak z pohledu optometristy, tak z pohledu klienta. V této práci se nachází informace o možných indikacích, kontraindikacích pro nošení kontaktních čoček a postupech vyšetření na štěrbinové lampě. Dále jsou popsány komplikace nošení kontaktních čoček. Jde o komplikace častější, které je optometrista schopen zhodnotit podle gradingových tabulek a i komplikace méně časté, se kterými se optometrista setkává s menší pravděpodobností. V praktické části je provedeno nejprve dotazníkové šetření a následně i samotné vyšetření několika vybraných respondentů. Cílené otázky v dotazníku monitorují s jakými subjektivními negativními pocity se nositelé potýkají. Byla vyhodnocena i kvalita péče respondentů o kontaktní čočky, čímž jsou určeny možné příčiny nespokojenosti klientů. Skupina respondentů je rozdělena na nositele jednodenních a vícedenních kontaktních čoček, u kterých bylo potvrzeno, že problémy zaznamenávají častěji a ve větší míře, a proto u nich bylo provedeno i vyšetření. Důležitost vyšetření byla prokázána a podpořena výsledky objektivního pozorování. Výsledky experimentální části byly zaznamenány ve formě grafů a tabulek.

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis summarizes basic information on the appropriate way of handling contact lenses, both from the optometrist's and the client's point of view. There is information about possible indications, contraindications for wearing contact lenses and slit lamp examination procedures. Complications of contact lens wear are also described. These include the more common complications, which the optometrist is able to assess according to grading charts, and the less common complications, which the optometrist is less likely to encounter. In the practical part, first a questionnaire survey and then the actual examination of a few selected respondents was made. Targeted questions in the questionnaire monitor what subjective negative feelings the wearers are dealing with. The quality of the respondent's contact lens care was also evaluated to determine possible causes of client dissatisfaction. The group of respondents is divided into daily wearers and multi-day contact lens wearers, who were confirmed to experience problems more frequently and to a greater extent, and were therefore also examined. The importance of the examination was demonstrated and supported by the results of objective observation. The results of the experimental part were recorded in the form of graphs and tables.
