Currently, there is a need to create an efficient and inexpensive installation that could use alternative energy sources to produce electricity. One of the promising areas of renewable energy - solar energy. To convert the energy of the sun into electrical energy a special device is needed - a solar panel, as well as a number of other, auxiliary devices. In this paper, we propose a way to increase the productivity of solar panels through the use of sun-tracking installation - a solar tracker. The result of this dissertation is a finished model of the solar plant with an integrated model of the solar tracker, created in the Matlab/Simulink software product. With its help, the potential of the area was assessed (three geographical points were selected - Alexandrovskoe village, Brno and Shanghai), and the possible power generation of the considered installation with and without the use of different types of tracker was determined. The thesis is structured as follows: first I describe a review and analysis of the use of solar trackers in world practice. Then the development of a mathematical model of the tracking system. Then the simulation of the tracking system operation modes is presented. In the next chapter, I built a power supply system using solar trackers. Then the economic evaluation of the investment solution was carried out. The conclusion will be made about the technical and economic efficiency of the use of solar trackers, a comparative analysis of the performance of different models.
