| cze |
dc.description.abstract | The topic of this project is the brushless direct current motor. In this work, it is categorized within the electric drive domain, and the principle behind the rotation is described, which revolves around the alignment of the magnetic field of the permanent magnets on the rotor with the magnetic field generated by the windings along the stator. The back electromotive force is also described, along with the most frequently used position sensors. From the array of control algorithms, six-step, direct torque control and field oriented control methods are discussed. Then, the mathematical model is proposed, upon which the simulation of the six-step control algorithm is based in the MATLAB/Simulink environment. In the last part, implementation of said six-step algorithm is described on the STEVAL-SPIN3202 control board from STMicroelectronics. Possible safety measures for the control electronics are discussed, as well as the logic behind individual steps. The result is the comparison between phase currents of a real motor and the phase currrents from the simulation. The goal of the first half of this work is to offer a comprehensible description of a BLDC drive, offer a mathematical model and simulate six-step control. The goal of the second half is to describe the process of implementing such algorithm, complications, which need to be taken into consideration, and to compare simulation of the motor with real motor performance. The motor used in this project is Linix-45ZWN24-40. | eng |
