Práce mimo zmíněného projektu ThyroPIX popisuje i klinicky používané technologie scintilačních detektorů. Dále blíže vysvětluje princip pixelových detektorů Medipix a technologie Timepix3. vyhodnocení výsledků praktické části shrnuje důvod výběru dané konfigurace pro modul Comptonovy kamery. This bachelor thesis presents the possibility of using a relatively new technology of hybrid pixel detectors in nuclear medicine imaging. As part of the ThyroPIX project, the intention is to develop a detection system using Timepix3 technology and the Compton camera principle for monitoring the treatment of thyroid cancer using 131I. The tests described in this work focus mainly on the selection of a suitable detectors configuration for the production of a Compton camera module and verification of its correct function. In addition, to the ThyroPIX project, the work also describes clinically used scintillation detector technologies. This work further explains the principle of Medipix pixel detectors and Timepix3 technology. The evaluation of results of the practical part summarizes the reason for choosing the given configuration for the Compton camera module.
