Výsledky získané vytvořeným programem jsou verifikovány analytickým řešením, dostupnými numerickými testy a experimentálními daty získanými z měření pomocí dělené Hopkinsonovy tyče. | cze |
dc.description.abstract | The thesis concerns the implementation of advanced numerical methods for solving single-dimension issues of elastic wave propagation in heterogeneous rods using FEM. The Theory section of the thesis summarizes the basic theory of the one dimensional wave equation including its analytical solution for special cases of initial and boundary conditions. A weak formulation of the problem is defined and the basic FEM equations for 1D cases are derived. Domain decomposition using Lagrange multiplicators in their classical as well as localized form is used. The principles and differentiating aspects of advanced time schemes in connection with domain decomposition methods is introduced. Global, heterogeneous and asynchronous methods including algorithms and graphic charts showing the calculation are presented. The principle and purpose of the method based on local stepping is described. The methods stated here are implemented within the Practical section of the thesis into a self-contained MATLAB program which allows the solution of 1D linear elastodynamics tasks, which are heterogeneous in nature and contain unstructured mesh, regardless of the number of domains. The results obtained using the abovementioned program are verified by the means of an analytical solution, available numerical tests and experimental data gained from the measurements performed using a split Hopkinson pressure bar. | eng |
