Typy funkcionálního kalkulu pro operátory a matice

Abstract

Hlavním cílem této práce je seznámit čtenáře s nejběžnějšími typy funkcionálního kalkulu v kontextu obecných Banachových algeber, což zahrnuje holomorfní a spojitý funkcionální kalkulus, a ukázat typické aplikace, především v případě konečně dimenzionálních unitálních Banachových algeber čtvercových matic. Pro tento účel zavedeme základní spektrální teorii a ukážeme spektrální dekompozice pro speciální prvky. V poslední kapitole se zaměříme na Banachův prostor obdélníkových matic, které sice netvoří asociativní algebru vzhledem k násobení, ale přesto mají strukturu Jordanova triple systému, ve kterém budeme uvažovat další obecnější funkcionální kalkulus.

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the reader to the most common types of functional calculus in the context of general Banach algebras, which includes holomorphic and continuous calculus, and show some typical applications, especially in the case of finite dimensional unital Banach algebras of square matrices. For this purpose, basic spectral theory will be introduced and spectral decompositions for special elements will be discussed. In the last chapter, we will focus on Banach spaces of rectangular matrices that do not form an associative algebra under multiplication, but nonetheless contain structure of Jordan triple system for which yet another, more general functional calculus can be considered.
