Praha TĚŠNOV - studie území v okolí stanice metra

Abstract

Návrh se zabývá revitalizací prostor staré hradební linie v oblasti Těšnov v cetrální Praze. Území se nachází na pomezí tří městských čtvrtí, různých měřítek zástavby a nepropojených městských prostor. Celé území protíná Severojižní magistrála, která zde vytváří nespojitá území, barikády a místní problémy. Návrh se zaměřuje na území ohraničené ze severu nábřežím a z jihu železnicí, po stranách se vpíjí do zástavby Nového Města a Karlína. Oblast je protkaná sítí hromadné dopravy a s ní spojeným pohybem velkého množství chodců. Cílem urbanistického řešení je zlepšení celistvosti území a jeho průstupnosti s cílem na pěší a cyklisty. Dále se zaměřuje na lokální problémy území, využívá jeho rezerv a doplňuje jeho formu tak, aby působilo jako plnohodnotná součást centra Prahy.

The urban design focuses on the revitalization of the old fortification line in the Těšnov area in central Prague. The area is located on the border of three city districts, where different scales of development meet, and it‘s an area of unconnected urban spaces. The whole area is crossed by the highway (Severo-jižní magistrála), which creates discontinuous areas, barricades, and local problems. The proposal focuses on the area bounded on the north by the embankment and on the south by the railway, and on the sides by the development of Nové Město and Karlín. The area is interwoven with the public transport network and the associated movement of a large number of pedestrians. The aim of the urban solution is to improve the integrity of the area and its accessibility with a focus on pedestrians and cyclists. It also focuses on local problems of the area, uses its reserves, and complements its form so that it acts as a full-fledged part of the center of Prague.
