Metodologie konverze objektů průmyslového dědictví pro nové nevýrobní funkce

Abstract

Disertační práce se zabývá aktuální problematikou zachování a nového využití architektonických objektů průmyslového dědictví z období 18. až začátku 20. století formou jejich konverze a integrace nových nevýrobních funkcí. V rámci úvodní části disertační práce byl definován význam a aktuálnost výzkumu v oblasti problematiky zachování historických průmyslových objektů formou jejich konverze; byl stručně popsán stav současného poznání této problematiky. Dále následuje analytická práce, zaměřená na zkoumání základních charakteristik průmyslové architektury 18. až začátku 20. století včetně identifikace a analýzy její charakteristiky a vlastností. Jako přijatelný způsob nového využití se navrhuje konverze, a to také z hlediska strategie udržitelného rozvoje a památkové péče, s následným vývojem komplexního systému nevýrobních funkcí. V návaznosti na předchozí výsledky se definují základní principy a aspekty konverze včetně provedení analýzy tzv. přirozené kompatibility typologie průmyslových staveb a také zkoumání charakteru možných způsobů intervence do původního řešení objektu. Kriteriální analýza vybraných případových studií identifikuje současné trendy, rozmanitost a funkčnost implementovaných programů a také další související charakteristiky realizovaných konverzí. Výstupem práce je návrh univerzální metodologie konverze, optimalizace systému hodnocení a přijetí řešení, který také zahrnuje definici základních metod konverze historických průmyslových objektů a návrh systému hodnocení a přijetí řešení včetně vývoje tzv. logického modelu konverze objektů průmyslového dědictví.

This dissertation thesis deals with the current issue of preservation and adaptive reuse of industrial heritage architecture from the 18th to the beginning of the 20th century in the form of their adaptive reuse with the integration of new non-production functions. The importance and relevancy of research in the field of preservation of historical industrial buildings in the form of their adaptive reuse is defined in the frame of the introductory part of the dissertation thesis. It also includes the brief description of the state of current knowledge. The thesis presents results of the analytical work focused on the research of the typology of industrial architecture from the 18th to the beginning of the 20th century that includes identification and analysis of its general characteristics. Furthermore, the adaptive reuse proposes as an acceptable way of preservation and new effective use of the historic industrial objects, also in terms of sustainable development and heritage preservation strategy; complex system of non-production functions is developed. Based on the previous results, the basic principles and aspects of the adaptive reuse are defined. Analysis of the so-called “natural compatibility” of the typology of industrial buildings is carried out as well as other possible ways of intervention into the original state of the historic industrial buildings. Criteria analysis of the selected case studies with the identification of current trends, functionality of implemented programs as well as other related characteristics of realized projects in adaptive reuse are carried out. As an output of the dissertation thesis a proposal of universal methodology of adaptive reuse, optimization of evaluation system and solution acceptance is developed, which also includes the definition of basic methods of adaptive reuse, development of evaluation system for solution acceptance and development of the logical model of adaptive reuse of industrial heritage architecture.
