Využití brachyterapie a teleterapie v léčbě onkologických onemocnění

Abstract

Tématem bakalářské práce je zpracování problematiky možnosti využití brachyterapie a teleterapie v léčbě onkologických onemocnění. Praktická část bakalářské práce zahrnuje analýzu dat onkologických pacientů léčených na Radioterapeutické a onkologické klinice Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady v roce 2017. V teoretické části jsou popsány principy ionizujícího záření, jeho interakce s hmotou, biologické účinky a způsoby léčby ionizujícím zářením. Praktická část je zaměřena na sledování počtu onkologických pacientů léčených radioterapií na Radioterapeutické a onkologické klinice FNKV v roce 2017, věkové rozdělení, rozdělení podle pohlaví, léčené diagnózy a způsoby radioterapeutické léčby.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is addressing the issue of possible use brachytherapy and teletherapy in the treatment of oncological diseases. The practical part of the bachelor thesis includes analysis of data of oncology patients treated at the Radiotherapy and oncology Clinic of FNKV in 2017. The theoretical part describes principles of ionizing radiation, its interaction with matter, biological effects and methods of treatment with ionizing radiation. The practical part is focused on monitoring the number of oncology patients treated with radiotherapy at the Radiotherapy and oncology Clinic in 2017, age distribution, gender distribution, treated diagnoses and methods of radiotherapy treatment.
