Měření rychlosti toku likvoru akveduktem pomocí magnetické rezonance u pacientů s normotenzním hydrocefalem

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou diagnostiky a léčby pacientů s normotenzním hydrocefalem. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je popsána fyziologie likvorových cest, etiologie a patofyziologie hydrocefalu a jeho léčba pomocí zavedení ventrikuloperitoneálního zkratu. Dále je v této části popsán princip magnetické rezonance a zobrazení toku likvoru pomocí fázového kontrastu. V praktické části byli v magnetické rezonanci vyšetřeni pacienti s normotenzním hydrocefalem (před léčbou a po ní) a pacienti s Alzheimerovou chorobou pomocí sekvence fázového kontrastu. Statisticky byly hodnoceny rychlosti toku likvoru a průtoky akveduktem. Jsou zde popsány jednotlivé části postupů, pomocí kterých byl proveden sběr dat a jejich následné vyhodnocení. V závěru bakalářské práce jsou diskutovány odlišnosti průtoku mozkomíšního moku akveduktem u dospělých pacientů s normotenzním hydrocefalem před a po zahájení léčby a u pacientů s Alzheimerovou chorobou.

The bachelor thesis deals with the diagnostics and treatment of patients with normotensive hydrocephalus and it is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes physiology of liquor paths, aetiology and pathophysiology of hydrocephalus and its treatment by introduction of ventriculoperitoneal shunt. This part furthermore depicts the principle of magnetic resonance and the flow of the liquor by means of phase contrast. The practical part includes MRI examinations of patients with normotensive hydrocephalus (before and after the treatment) and of patients with Alzheimer disease through phase contrast sequencing. The flow rates of the liquor in the aqueduct were statistically evaluated. This part also brings description of individual parts of the procedure through which the data were collected and subsequently evaluated. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis discusses the differences in the cerebrospinal fluid aqueduct flow in adult patients with normotensive hydrocephalus before and after the treatment and in patients with Alzheimer disease.
