Postavenie Protónového centra v liečbe zhubných nádorov

Abstract

Bakalárska práca s názvom Postavenie Protónového centra v liečbe zhubných nádorov pozostáva z teoretickej a praktickej časti. V teoretickej časti sú uvedené základy protónovej terapie a cyklotrónu. Ďalej teoretická časť obsahuje krátky popis nádorov liečených v Protónovom centre v Prahe (PTC) a vysvetľuje, ktoré nádory nie sú vhodné k protónovej terapii. V závere teoretickej časti sú popísané úlohy rádiologického asistenta pri protónovej terapii. Náplňou praktickej časti práce je analýza pacientov liečených v PTC od 1.1.2013 do 31.12.2017. Výsledné počty pacientov za jednotlivé roky (s prihliadnutím na diagnózu, pohlavie a vek) sú uvedené v tabuľkách.

This Bachelor Thesis named Position of the Proton Therapy Center in Treatment of Malignant Tumours consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part the basics of proton therapy and cyclotron are presented. Apart from that, the theoretical part contains a short description of the tumours treated in the Proton Therapy Center in Prague (PTC) and explains which tumours are not suitable for proton therapy. At the end of the theoretical part responsibilities of a radiological assistant in proton therapy are described. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of patients treated in the PTC since 1.1.2013 until 31.12.1017. The total number of patients in each year (taking into consideration their diagnose, sex and age) is shown in tables.
