Přístup příslušníků Policie České republiky k osobám s duševním onemocněním

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá přístupem příslušníků PČR k osobám s duševním onemocněním. V teoretické části je popsána historie psychiatrie, přístup k psychicky nemocným od starověku po současnost, dále jsou popsány vybrané typy psychických poruch, rysy agrese a zásady jednání s agresivní osobou. Též je citována část zákona o policii, která se věnuje donucovacím prostředkům. V praktické části byla pomocí nestandardizovaného dotazníku zjišťována připravenost a znalost práce s duševně nemocnými osobami ze strany policistů. Na základě výsledků dotazníkového šetření byly zjištěny nedostatky v dané problematice. V závěru práce jsou vybrány některé návrhy na zkvalitnění přípravy policistů k práci psychicky nemocnými.

This bachelor thesis deals with police approach to people with mental illness. The theoretical part describes the history of psychiatry, treatment and the approach to mental illnesses from antiquity to the present. Following chapter is dedicated to description of psychiatric disorders with aggression risk. In the following part, phenomenology of aggression and the principles of dealing with an aggressive person are described. In the practical part, the preparedness and knowledge of the work of mentally ill persons by police officers was determined using a non-standardized questionnaire. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, shortcomings in the given issue were identified. At the end of the thesis, some suggestions are made with aim to improve training of police officers in work with mentally ill patients.
