Mukozitida dutiny ústní jako komplikace radioterapie v oblasti hlavy a krku

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá léčbou nádorového onemocnění v oblasti hlavy a krku a následně komplikacemi, které mohou vzniknout během léčby. Teoretická část obsahuje popis jednotlivých nádorových onemocnění, které se mohou vyskytnout v oblasti hlavy a krku. Jsou zde zaznamenány jejich rizikové faktory výskyt těchto onemocnění. Dále jsou zde popsány jednotlivé léčebné modality používané při nádorových onemocněních hlavy a krku a součástí je také popis radioterapie, která je jednou z možností léčby. S ohledem na podstatu bakalářské práce je velká část teoretické práce věnována nežádoucím účinkům v oblasti hlavy a krku, které doprovázejí následnou léčbu. Praktická část je věnována literární rešerši. Zahrnuje 13 článků o současných možnostech prevence či následné léčby orální mukozitidy ve světě. Tyto články byly vyhledávány z databáze National Center for Biotechnology Information a Web of Science. Jednotlivé články zkoumají vliv různých druhů látek, laserů a kryoterapie. Na základě literární rešerše byla následně vypracována brožura obsahující stručný popis mukozitidy dutiny ústní jako komplikace radioterapie v oblasti hlavy a krku. Brožura je určena pro pacienty, u kterých by tato komplikace mohla vzniknout.

The bachelor thesis examines the treatment of the head and neck cancer and late complications that might arise during the treatment. The theoretical part contains a description of individual tumor diseases that can occur in the head and neck area. In this part risk factors and the occurrence of these diseases are mentioned. In addition, there are described the individual therapeutic modalities used in the head and neck cancer, and also a description of radiotherapy, which is one of the treatment options. Considering the bachelor thesis title, a big part of the theoretical work is devoted to the side effects that accompany the follow-up treatment in the head and neck cancer. The practical part is devoted to literature review. There are 13 articles included which examine current possibilities of prevention or subsequent treatment of the oral mucositis in the world. These articles were looked up from the National Centre for Biotechnology Information database and the Web of Science. Articles investigate the effects of different types of substances, lasers and cryotherapy. A brochure containing a brief description of oral mucositis as a complication of head and neck radiotherapy was subsequently developed on the basis of a literature search. The brochure is designed for patients in whom this complication may arise.
