Vyšetření hemoglobinu ve stolici u dětí a adolescentů

Abstract

Předmětem bakalářské práce bylo stanovení koncentrace hemoglobinu ve stolici u dětí a adolescentů pomocí kvantitativní imunochemické metody. Teoretická část se věnuje struktuře, fyziologickým variantám a metabolizmu hemoglobinu, zmiňuje základní poznatky o vyšetření stolice a zánětlivých biomarkerů, pojednává o kolorektálním karcinomu, jeho screeningu a diagnostice. Stěžejní jsou kapitoly o krvácení do gastrointestinálního traktu a o analytických možnostech stanovení hemoglobinu ve stolici. Praktická část popisuje metodický postup od odběru po stanovení hemoglobinu ve stolici. Experimentální část popisuje vyšetření hemoglobinu ve stolici v souboru 201 dětských pacientů s onemocněními gastrointestinálního traktu i negastrointestinálního původu s následným statistickým vyhodnocením výsledků. Byly nalezeny statisticky významné výsledky mezi oběma skupinami pacientů. Z vyhodnocení výsledků je zřejmé, že vyšetření hemoglobinu ve stolici u dětí a adolescentních pacientů má diagnostický význam.

The subject of the bachelor thesis was to determine the hemoglobin concentration in faeces in children and adolescents using a quantitative immunochemical method. The theoretical part was concerned to the structure, physiological variants, and the metabolism of hemoglobin, summarizes the basic knowledge about investigations of faeces and inflammatory biomarkers. It also discussed colorectal cancer, it's screening, and diagnostics. The most important aspect of the theoretical part is the chapter on gastrointestinal bleeding and the analytical possibilities of determining hemoglobin in faeces. The practical part describes the method from the collection of samples to the determination of hemoglobin in faeces. The experimental part describes the examination of hemoglobin in faeces in a group of 201 pediatric patients with gastrointestinal and non-gastrointestinal diseases, followed by statistical evaluation of the results. Statistically significant results were found between these two groups of patients. The evaluation results show that the investigation of hemoglobin in faeces in children and adolescents may have diagnostic importance.
