Hodnocení stability sedu paraplegiků pomocí přístroje Homebalance

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá jednou z konsekvencí míšního poranění, a to problematikou stability sedu u paraplegiků. V kapitole Současný stav jsou zpracovány teoretické informace ohledně anatomie páteře a míchy a je zaměřena na problematiku poranění hrudní páteře s následným vznikem paraplegie. Dále je uveden popis systému Homebalance pomocí něhož byla hodnocena stabilita sedu paraplegických pacientů. Speciální část zpracovává kazuistiky čtyř pacientů s touto diagnózou, přičemž je zde popsán průběh terapie na přístroji HB. Jeden z výstupů práce tvoří kineziologické rozbory těchto čtyř pacientů společně s výpisem z dokumentace. V poslední části práce jsou porovnány grafy z úvodní a závěrečné diagnostiky před a po terapii s otevřenýma a zavřenýma očima a se zpětnou vazbou pomocí přístroje Homebalance. Výsledky zvolené terapie jsou prezentovány v diskusi, kdy jsou dále porovnány s výsledky ze zahraničních studií, kde byla také hodnocena stabilita sedu paraplegiků pomocí jiných přístrojů.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is one of the consequences of the spinal cord injury, the issue of sitting balance in persons with paraplegia. The chapter Current status provides the reader with theoretical information on the anatomy of spine and spinal cord and is focused on the issue of the chest spine injury resulting in paraplegia. Furthermore, the Homebalance system, which was used for measurement and evaluation of the sitting stability in persons with paraplegia, was introduced and described. The specialized part compiles the case studies of patients diagnosed with paraplegia. The procedure of the therapy using the Homebalance device is described in this part as well. One of the outcomes of this thesis consists of the kinesiological analysis of these four patients together with the abstract from their documentation. In the last part of the thesis, there are compared graphs from the initial and final diagnostics before and after the therapy with the eyes opened and with the eyes closed and with the feedback rendered by the Homebalance device. The results of the forehead described therapy are presented in Discussion. These results are compared with the results of other foreign studies, which also dealt with the issue of sitting balance in persons with paraplegia, but used different devices for measurement and evaluation.
