This thesis focuses on application of the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) method with patients with cystic fibrosis and its impact on ventilation. In the Current Condition chapter there is the basic information regarding the respiratory system, especially regarding the diaphragm functional anatomy and its utilization for stabilization. Also, the cystic fibrosis disease is described, its problems, theoretical possibilities of examination and subsequently its treatment. Also, this thesis includes basic information pertinent to the DNS method, its principles and use, detailed exercises from the therapy are described in the special part. The respiration physiotherapy terms, posture and deep stabilizing system which the DNS method works with are described here. The special part of this thesis includes three casuistries of patients with cystic fibrosis based on which specific exercise units were developed. Two patients underwent ambulatory therapy, their therapy took place once a week for the period of one month. The last patient was hospitalized in FN Motol, where the physiotherapy took place every day for the period of two weeks. The casuistries include an entry kinesiologic examination, anamnesis, a short-term and a long-term physiotherapy plan and a description of the block of exercises. In the other chapters, final kinesiologic examinations are discussed and the therapy effect is discussed based on the comparison of the entry and final data. In the Discussion chapter the problems of the application of the above-mentioned method, the assessment of the overall effect of the chosen method and the comparison of the results are described. Practical experience is compared to theoretical knowledge obtained from professional literature. This thesis ends with a summary of the goals of this thesis.
