Následující fyzikálně chemické vlastnosti molekul byly zkoumány: HOMO a LUMO orbitaly, Fukuiho funkce, Fukuiho náboje, populační analýza, řády vazeb a elektrostatický potenciál. Z uvedených vlastností nejlépe korelovaly s experimentem Fukuiho náboje a Fukuiho funkce. | cze |
dc.description.abstract | Digiloclamides (DGA) are one of the most promising family of ligands that can be used to reprocess the active waste. However, the conditions these molecules are exposed to cause their degradation. That leads to a decrease in the efficiency of the separation process. This bachelor thesis is focused on studying the stability of selected representatives of the DGA family. These are TMDGA, TEDGA, me-TEDGA and me2-TEDGA. Their possible use is, for example, in the EXAm process, which deals with extraction of americium. Their stability has been investigated by simulations based on the Density Functional Theory. Gaussian and DMol3 codes have been used. The following physicochemical properties of the molecules have been studied: HOMO and LUMO orbitals, Fukui functions, Fukui charges, population analysis, bond orders and electrostatic potential. The results of the calculations are compared with the published experimental data and the similar study of the TODGA molecule and its derivatives. Fukui charges and Fukui functions provide the best correlation with the experiment. | eng |
