Akutní ošetřovatelská péče u HIV pozitivního klienta

Abstract

V této práci jsem se zaměřila na akutní ošetřovatelskou péči u HIV pozitivních pacientů, na její specifika, na infekci HIV jako takovou, její historii, cesty přenosu, kvalitu života HIV pozitivního člověka, rizika přenosu na ošetřovatelský personál a zejména na postavení HIV pozitivního pacienta v českém zdravotnictví právě z pohledu akutní ošetřovatelské péče. V praktické části bakalářské práce jsem využila metody kvalitativní, a to formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Pomocí pěti rozhovorů s ošetřovatelským personálem pracujícím v akutní péči se mi podařilo vytvořit obrázek o vzdělanosti těchto zdravotnických pracovníků a o jejich názorech a přístupu ke klientům nakažených infekcí HIV. Na základě zjištěných údajů je možno usoudit, že v rámci akutní péče je postavení takových klientů na poměrně dobré úrovni a předsudky v této části českého zdravotnického systému nemají své místo. Za přínos této práce považuji to, že komplexně shrnuje informace spojené s daným onemocněním a poskytuje vhled do přístupu zdravotnického pracovníka k HIV pozitivnímu pacientovi. Tato problematika bývá hodnocena zejména z pohledu klienta. Myslím si, že tato bakalářská práce může poskytnout cenné informace jak pacientovi, který se snaží pochopit jednání zdravotnického personálu, tak i zdravotníkům jako takovým, jelikož zde najdou všechny důležité informace spojené právě s touto problematikou a mohou se inspirovat přístupem jiných lidí, kteří mi svůj názor na danou věc poskytli.

In this work I focused on acute nursing care of HIV-positive patients, its specifics, the HIV infection as such, its history, transmission routes, the quality of life of an HIV-positive person, the risks of transmission to nursing staff, and in particular the status of an HIV-positive patient in Czech health care exactly from the point of view of acute nursing care. In the practical part of the Bachelor thesis I used qualitative methods in the form of a semi-structured interview. Through five interviews with the nursing staff working in acute care, I managed to create a picture of the education of these healthcare workers and their views and approach to HIV infected clients. On the basis of the data discovered, it can be concluded that in the context of acute care the status of such clients is relatively good and there is not room for prejudice in this part of the Czech healthcare system. I consider this work beneficial because it comprehensively summarizes the information associated with the given disease and gives insight into the approach of a healthcare worker to an HIV-positive patient. This issue is mostly evaluated from the perspective of the client. I think that this Bachelor thesis can provide valuable information to both the patient who is trying to understand the behaviour of the healthcare staff, as well as to the healthcare professionals as such, as they will find here all the important information related to this issue and they may be inspired by the approach of other people who provided me with their opinion on the given matter.
