Technologie streamingu a hodnocení kvality videa

Abstract

Práce pojednává o technologiích a přístupech ke streamingu audiovizuálního obsahu. Popisuje rozdíly mezi online a offline streamingem, adaptivním a neadaptivním streamingem a seznamuje s nejvyužívanějšími kompresními standardy a kodeky. Další části přibližují problematiku kvality streamu, způsoby jejího hodnocení. Práce také uvádí nejznámější streamingové služby a popisuje realizaci celého přenosového řetězce.

The thesis deals with technologies and approaches to streaming of audiovisual content. It describes the differences between online and offline streaming, adaptive and non-adaptive streaming and introduces the most used compression standards and codecs. Other sections describe the issue of the quality of the stream and the ways of its assessment. The most popular streaming services are stated as well as the description of the transmission realization.
