Kampus Albertov - bydlení pro studenty

Abstract

Studentské bydlení je klíčovým prvkem pro kampus Albertov. Přináší do místa nový rozměr a to využívání kampusu studenty celodenně. Studentské koleje se nacházejí v přímé blízkosti bývalého městského opevnění. Koncept domu vyplívá z charakteristiky Albertova, místo s mnoha zdmi, dvory a schodišti. Dům na sevrní straně vytváří zeď s pilíři a schodišti, která je průchodná do dvora a otevírá intimní prostor se zelení a terasou. Celé stavbě dominují pavlače, které prostupují dům a otevírají se pohledově na původní městské opevnění a do ulice. V budoucnu by studentské koleje mohli sloužit díky svým dvěma vyrovnávacím průchodům také jako spojnice plánované pěší trasy podél hradeb a kampusu s návazností na Bastion a pobytovou zeleň. Respektive by výstavba kolejí mohla podpořit, posunout realizaci této pěší trasy kolem hradeb.

Student dormitory is one of key building for campus Albertov in Prague. The building brings a new perspective to the region, which is using the campus besides the main educational period. Student housing is located near the town fortifications. The concept of the house stems from the characteristics of Albertov, a place with many walls, courtyards and stairs. The house on the north side forms a wall with pillars and stairs that pass through the courtyard and opens an intimate space with greenery and a terrace. The building is made by the system of the porchies leading to the rooms. In the future, students' dormitories could serve thanks to their two equalizing passages as the link between the planned footpath along the wall and campus in conection with Bastion and residential greenery. Respectively, the construction of the dormitory could support the shift of this hiking route around the fortification.
