Vliv dynamické komprese signálu na parametr srozumitelnosti řeči STI

Abstract

V této práci je studován vliv dynamické komprese signálu na index přenosu řeči STI (z angl. speech transmission index). Jsou popsány teoretické principy jednotlivých metod měření, kterými lze dospět k cílovému parametru STI. Dále je detailně popsáno zařízení pro dynamické snížení rozsahu zvuku, tedy kompresor. Následně jsou všechny uvedené metody implementovány a použity k experimentálnímu ověření. Výsledkem je analýza vlivu kompresoru na parametr STI v rámci jednotlivých metod.

This thesis studies the influence of dynamic compression of sound signal on the STI (speech transmission index) parameter. Described within are the theoretical principles of the measuring methods which are used to define the STI. There is also described the dynamic range compressor. All the stated methods are implemented and then used for experimental verification. The result is the analysis of the influence of the compressor on the STI parameter considering each of the stated methods.
