Cílem diplomové práce je analýza alternativních způsobů využití dopravy v hlavním městě Praha v rámci konceptu Smart cities a komparace projektů Smart cities - mobility z vybraných evropských měst: Vídně, Kodaně a Amsterdamu. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze alternative means of transportation in Prague using the Smart cities concept and to compare selected Smart cities - mobility projects from chosen European cities. The main objective of the thesis is an analysis of the actual mobility situation in Prague and comparing alternative means of transportation with projects of selected cities. The diploma thesis focuses on the capital of the Czech Republic and the projects of three European cities: Vienna, Copenhagen and Amsterdam, that have been implementing projects of alternative transportation over a long period of time and projects are being significantly successful in the long-term perspective of the city. Individual projects are selected to be applicable to the City of Prague and assessed contributions within the Intelligent City system. The thesis consists of two main parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of Smart cities and its structure, supported by specialized publications. The practical part focuses on the analysis of real projects and their mutual comparison. Based on the evaluation of individual projects, there is a solution suggested for Prague.
