Interaktivní muzeum na Letné

Abstract

Obsahem mé diplomové práce je návrh Interaktivního muzea na Letné naproti Národnímu zemědělskému muzeu. Tvar budovy tvoří tři vzájemně propojené hmoty, které se vizuálně spojují v jeden celek. Centrem celého objektu je prosklená část, která svým tvarem tvoří dominantu a orientační bod nejen v objektu, ale i mimo něj. Tvar této části podporuje gradaci Letenské stráně směrem k Hradu a zároveň tvoří nezaměnitelnou siluetu viditelnou nejen z Letenského parku, ale i z protějšího nábřeží. Transparentní hmota umožňuje průhled a celkově odlehčuje hmotnost objektu. Zešikmení stěn dodává stavbě dynamičnost. Návrhem vzniká také veřejný prostor, který je ohraničen muzei.

The subject of this diploma thesis is to design a multi-purpose interactive museum situated in Letna opposite the National Museum of Agriculture. The building's shape is composed of three conjoined structures visually giving the impression of a one united whole. The central part is created by glassed panes which owing to their shape form the dominant and landmark not only in the building but also outside of it. Moreover, the shape of this part of the building complements the elevation of Letenske strane towards the Castle and at the same time forms an unmistakable silouhette clearly vissible from Letensky park as well as the opposite embankment. Utilizing transparent material alllows for magnificent views and lightens the perception of the object's weight. In addition, slopping the walls adds dynamisms to the building. Last but not least, the design creates a public space enclosed by museums.
