Konverze bývalé teplárny Veleslavín

Abstract

Predmetom diplomovej práce je návrh konverzie bývalej teplárne Veleslavín. Konverzia má za cieľ vytvoriť z objektu kultúrne centrum. Návrh premeny vychádza z preddiplomového projektu, z urbanistickej štúdie, ktorá bola základom pre naplnenie cieľov: vytvorenie príležitostí pre kontakt a spojenia medzi rôznymi užívateľmi. Základnú ideu 'dať tepláreň ľuďom', sme prepísali do návrhu areálu, aj do návrhu konverzie teplárne. Urbanistické riešenie umožňuje vyžitie pre užívateľov všetkých vekových skupín a, súčasne, vďaka lávkam a zvažujúcemu sa námestiu, sprístupňuje tepláreň v troch úrovniach. V objekte sa na ôsmich úrovniach spájajú viaceré prevádzky, poskytujúce možnosti pre široké spektrum užívateľov. Sú to: výstavné priestory, malá divadelná sála, bar, vstupná hala s kaviarňou, drobným predajom a priestormi pre prácu, verejné dielne, prenajímateľné ateliéry, veľká spoločenská a divadelná sála, vertikálny park a sprístupnený trakt zauhľovania, poskytujúci výhľad na mesto. Všetky tieto jednotky si kladú za cieľ vytvoriť z objektu starej teplárne živý a fungujúci organizmus.

The object of this dissertation is a conversion proposal for the former heating plant of Veleslavín, Czech Republic. The purpose of the conversion is to transform the property into a cultural centre. The proposal is based on the pre-dissertation project, an urban study. The initial study formed the basis for fulfilling the aims of the conversion, such as creating opportunities for communication and connection between various users. The main idea being ?to give the heating plant to people? was written into the area proposal as well as into the heating plant conversion proposal. An urbanistic solution offers usage for users of all age groups while gangways and sloping square provide access to the heating plant on three levels. Various services are housed across the eight levels of the property, available for a wide range of users. Exhibition premises, small theatre, bar, foyer with a cafeteria, small merchandise and space for work, public workshops, rentable ateliers, large social and theatre hall, vertical park and accessible former coiling level providing view of the city. The purpose of all these units is to transform the old heating plant into a living and functional organism.
