dc.description.abstractThe goal of this thesis is to define, research and compare approaches of the economical assessment of IT project investment in cloud environment. In the first part of the thesis, there is explanation of uncertainty events, known as Black/Grey/White swans. Their influence toward IT projects. The second part of thesis is possibilities of investment calculations, their description including quantitative criteria and formulas, but more focus on real options method approach. The next part of thesis elaborates with properties of cloud computing, where its advantages, disadvantages, components, services and infrastructures are mentioned and clarified. At the end, there is business and technology of cloud computing is penetrating to each other, while an example is evaluated with real options method.cze
