Plzeň Slovany, transformace bývalého vojenského areálu

Abstract

Tématem předdiplomního i diplomního projektu je komplexní urbanistická proměna bývalého vojenského areálu kasáren nacházejícího se v městské části Plzeň-Slovany. Projekt se zaměřuje na revitalizaci této dnes nevyužívané lokality s cílem navrhnout nové funkční a kvalitní městské prostředí. Diplomová práce se věnuje detailnímu návrhu vybrané části řešeného území, přičemž je kladen důraz na propracování veřejného prostoru. Součástí návrhu je rovněž architektonická studie bytového domu s aktivním přízemím, které má přispět k oživení uličního parteru a podpořit komunitní život. Projekt se dále zabývá návrhem a koordinací technické infrastruktury, včetně prvků modrozelené infrastruktury zaměřené na udržitelné hospodaření s dešťovou vodou a podporu biodiverzity, a rovněž řeší koncepci dopravního napojení s ohledem na bezpečnost a plynulost provozu v dané lokalitě.

The subject of both the pre-diploma and diploma project is the comprehensive urban transformation of a former military barracks complex located in the Plzeň-Slovany district. The project focuses on the revitalization of this currently unused site with the aim of designing a new, functional, and high-quality urban environment. The diploma thesis deals with a detailed design of a selected part of the area, with particular emphasis on the development of public space. The design also includes an architectural study of a residential building with an active ground floor, intended to contribute to the revitalization of the street parterre and support community life. The project also deals with the design and coordination of technical infrastructure, including elements of blue-green infrastructure focused at sustainable rainwater management and biodiversity enhancement. It also addresses the concept of transport connections with regard to safety and smooth traffic in the given location.
