MALEŠICKO-HOSTIVAŘSKÁ PRŮMYSLOVÁ OBLAST

Abstract

Průmyslové oblasti mají všechna evropská velkoměsta. Tyto lokality mají klíčový význam pro fungování města, protože tvoří jejich technické a provozní zázemí. Pro Prahu hraje tuto roli také Malešicko-hostivařská průmyslová oblast, o rozloze 650 hektarů. Tento organický průmyslový celek, plánovaný jako velmi specializovaná a účelová část města, čelí novým výzvám ve své organizaci, ve svém využití, urbanistickém uspořádání i v kvalitě veřejného prostoru. Na druhé straně, v souvislosti s aktuální bytovou krizí v Praze, se začíná uvažovat o transformaci této oblasti a výstavbě obytných souborů. Praha musí rozhodnout, zda ponechat tuto průmyslovou oblast ke svému původnímu účelu a posílit její původní funkci, nebo ji přeměnit na jiné využití.

All European cities have industrial areas. These locations are of key importance for the functioning of the city, as they form their technical and operational background. The Malešice-hostivař industrial area, with an area of 650 hectares, also plays this role for Prague. This organic industrial complex, planned as a highly specialized and purpose-built part of the city, faces new challenges in its organization, its use, urban planning and the quality of public space. On the other hand, in connection with the current housing crisis in Prague, consideration is being given to the transformation of this area and the construction of residential complexes. Prague must decide whether to keep this industrial area for its original purpose and strengthen its original function, or to convert it to another use.
