Dopady emisních systémů na letecké společnosti

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dopady emisních systémů EU ETS a CORSIA na změnu hospodaření leteckých společností v roce 2022 a 2035. Problematika emisí v letecké dopravě je téma, které je stále aktuálnější a zabývá se jím téměř každý subjekt v letecké dopravě. Motivací bylo zjistit, jak budou letecké společnosti ovlivněné na základě jejich geografického pole působnosti. Také zdali tyto politické nástroje ke snižování emisí budou efektivní. Byly také počítány změny cen letenek a poptávky na vybraných linkách. Pro analýzu bylo vybráno pět leteckých společností, které dobře prezentují dopady obou systému zvlášť i dohromady. Dopady byly počítány z cen za emise, vyprodukovaných emisí a nákladů na let. Výsledky analýzy ukazují, že nejvíce ovlivnění budou nízkonákladoví dopravci v Evropě, naopak dopravci, kteří fungují pouze pod systémem CORSIA, dopady příliš nepocítí. Náklady na emise se také více projeví na kratších letech.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the impacts of the EU ETS and CORSIA emission systems on the operational changes of airlines in 2022 and 2035. The issue of emissions in air transport is becoming increasingly relevant, and it is being addressed by almost every entity in the aviation sector. The motivation was to find out how airlines will be affected based on their geographical scope of operation and whether these emission reduction policy tools will be effective. Changes in ticket prices and demand on selected routes were also calculated. Five airlines were chosen for analysis as they well represent the impacts of both systems separately and combined. The impacts were calculated based on emission prices, emitted volumes, and flight costs. The analysis results show that low-cost carriers in Europe will be most affected by the EU ETS system. Conversely, airlines operating solely under CORSIA will not feel the impacts too much. The costs of emissions will also have a more significant effect on shorter flights.
