První část práce obsahuje popis principu, konstrukce a matematický model spínaného reluktančního motoru včetně metod sloužících ke zjištění parametrů stroje. Dále jsou prezentovány napájecí měniče a nejčastěji používané řídící strategie. Druhá část práce se zabývá popisem implementačních kroků nutných k sestavení modelu řízeného spínaného reluktančního motoru a následně jsou uvedeny výsledky simulace. This master thesis deals with the controlled 12/8 switched reluctance motor model in MATLAB/Simulink environment. The motor is powered by an asymmetric half-bridge converter. The control consists of an outer speed control loop and an inner torque control loop based on a direct instantaneous torque control strategy together with torque and current constraint. The first part of the thesis contains the description of principle, construction, mathematical model of the switched reluctance motor and methods used to determine the machine parameters. Furthermore, the power converters and the most used control strategies are presented here as well. The second part of the thesis deals with the description of implementation steps that are necessary to build the controlled switched reluctance motor model and then the simulation results are presented.
