The masters thesis is focused on the technology of additive manufacturing of metal parts. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the energy consumption of this modern technology in comparison with other metal parts production processes. At the same time, the economics of the selected technologies and their impact on the environment is also taken in to consideration. The thesis also includes a description of the requirements placed on the operators of these technological processes and the possibilities of automation of individual technologies.
