dc.description.abstract | The project area is situated in a peaceful residential neighborhood Šafránka at the boundaries of Prague's Břevnov in the Czech Republic. The area is well known for its historical significance, natural surroundings, and Motol Hospital, one of the largest and most prestigious medical institutions in the country. The project consists of two parts: Apartment building for healthcare workers and Rehabilitation center. Providing suitable living accommodations for healthcare workers is crucial for their well-being and the efficient delivery of healthcare services. The main concept of the project is following principles of healing architecture. Healing architecture is a specific architectural approach that recognizes the impact of the built environment on human well-being, particularly in the context of healthcare settings. It focuses on creating spaces that support the physical, mental, and emotional healing processes of individuals. | cze |
