Abstract

Galéria architektúry je situovaná v Prahe na osách Palackého námestia a Emauzského kláštora. Budova s tromi nadzemnými podlažiami poskytuje ľuďom nie len kultúrny zážitok z vystavovaných diel, ale taktiež aj z budovy samotnej. Hviezdicový tvar svetlíku nad centrálnym kruhovým schodiskom, strešný svetlík pozdĺž obvodovej steny či špecifické otvory na fasáde, cez ktoré taktiež preniká svetlo do interiéru, sú dominantou celej budovy.

The Gallery of Architecture is located in Prague on the axes of Palacký Square and the Emmaus Monastery. The building with three floors provides people not only with a cultural experience from the exhibited works, but also from the building itself. The star-shaped skylight above the central circular staircase, the roof skylight along the perimeter wall or the specific openings on the façade, through which light also penetrates into the interior, are the dominant feature of the entire building.
