Součástí práce je i program Monte Carlo napsaný v Basic Visual, takže ho lze zkopírovat, snadno případně upravit a použít k úlohám transportu elektronů. The present doctoral thesis deals with the use of the silicon detectors for military purposes. It involves the development of a silicon diode as both the gamma and neutron radiation detectors, which resulted in the introduction of the Podhorník detectors into the probe of the dosimetric device DP-86 designed to measure the dose power of gamma radiation emitted by a mixture of fission products. The Podhorník detector operates in the pulse mode and the basic requirement for the accuracy measurements is the knowledge of the energy and directional dependence. The calculation of the energy dependence and its experimental verification represents the core of the thesis. Based on the obtained results, the detector response is calculated according to the change of gamma radiation energy spectrum during the time change of the fissile product mixture. Monte Carlo modelling using the Moliére's theory and Tabata's range straggling curves were used to calculate the energy dependence. The results obtained from both procedures were compared. The thesis also includes the Monte Carlo program written in Basic Visual, so it can be copied, easily modified and used for electron transport tasks.
