Abstract

Na místě, které svojí strukturou připomíná spíše periferii města, ale na periferii neleží, hledám vhodný typ bydlení za daných podmínek – místo ve svahu, v řídce zastavěném území, obklopené různorodou výhodami i nevýhodami „vnitřní periferie.“ Místo je okolním kontextem nejasně určené, nejasná je tak i výsledná struktura nové zástavby. Oporou se stává téma zahradního města – navrhuji v tomto duchu společné bydlení v hustší zástavbě nízkých domů. Domy o třech bytech a společném dvorku ležící v otevřeném sadu.

It is a place with a structure resembling that of the city outskirts, but by its location it is no periphery in fact. In this place I search for a type of living designed by the given conditions – a place in a slope, sparsely developed, surrounded by various structures and with the advantages and disadvantages of an „inner periphery.“ The place is unclearly defined by its context, which makes the structure of the new development unclear as well. The basis is found in the topic of garden cities – in this spirit I am designing a collective housing in a dense low-rise structure. Houses made of three apartments with a common courtyard lying in an open garden.
