Hotel u Masarykova nádraží

Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh hotelu u Masarykova nádraží. Projekt navazuje na předdiplomní projekt architektonicko - urbanistické studie uzemí Masarykovo nádraží - Florenc. Hlavním myšlenkou studie bylo sjednotit nesourodé uzemí, začlenit magistrálu do struktury města a propojit návaznost veřejné dopravy.Výrazným prvkem návrhu je přemostění kolejiště Masarykova nádraží. Vzniká zde výškově druhá úroveň, na které je možné stavět. Budovy na přemostění přiléhají přímo k magistrále a z té se tak stává uliční prostor, namísto bariéry. Navrhovaný hotel je situován do jižní části uzemí, které lemuje ulice Hybernská z jihu a magistrála z východu. Hmota hotelu vychází z trojúhelníkového tvaru pozemku. Hlavní část hmoty výškově kopíruje okolní domy. V místě zúženého nároží se hmota zvedá a tvoří tak výraznou dominantu, která vizuálně komunikuje s Prašnou bránou na konci ulice. Jižní hmota naopak klesá spolu se svažujícím se terénem, to podoporuje jak nárožní dominantu, tak pouští do venkovního atria více slunečního světla. Mimo ubytování je v hotelu navržen dvoupodlažní prosklený společenský sál, restaurace, fitness, wellness a čtyřúrovňová střešní zahrada s vyhlídkou na celou Prahu.

The subject of this thesis is a project of a hotel located near the Masaryk railway station. The project follows-up the previously submitted architectural and urban study of the locality between Masaryk station and the Florenc metro and bus station. The main point of the study was to unite the area and to integrate the North South motorway running through Prague known as magistrala into the locality, as well as to interconnect the various forms of public transportation. The most distinctive moment of the study was the idea of bridging the railway at the station, which would create another level for development. The proposed buildings on the bridging would be placed directly beside the magistrala, which would improve the problematic road and drew it closer to the characteristics of ordinery city street. The proposed hotel is situated in the south part of the area by the Hybernska street and magistrala. The form of the hotel is based on the triangular shape of the site and for the most part it respects the height of surrounding buildings. In one of the corners the building goes higher and creates a distinctive dominant, which is linked visually to nearby Prasna brana. South part of the building inversely subsides as it copies the terrain. The project includes rooms for acommodation, two-store social hall, fitness, wellness and four-level rooftop garden.
