Dostavba Masarykova nádraží

Abstract

Zadaním diplomovej práce je dostavba Masarikovej stanice. Navrhovaný polyfunkčný objekt sa nachádza na mieste Českej pošty. V súčasnosti je okolie Masarykovej stanice ale aj k nej priľahlé budovy značne zanedbaný. Návrh vychádza z preddiplomového urbanistického riešenia tejto časti. Navrhnutý objekt svojou hmotou dotvára siluetu Masarykovej stanice zároveň vytvára vstupnú bránu do nového urbanistického priestoru. Svojou architektúrou neohrozuje dominanciu starých a významných budov stanice. Navonok objekt pôsobí konzervatívne a komunikuje s okolitou zástavbou. Zvnútra je objekt presklenený ľahkým obvodovým plášťom, otvára sa smerom dovnútra, ožíva a vytvára svoj vlastný ekosystém života. Polyfunkčný objekt komunikuje aj s novonavrhnutou platformou. Jednotlivé prevádzky v objekte dopĺňajú a oživujú priestor Masarykovej stanice. Vďaka únii prevádzok ktoré sa navzájom podporujú vznikajú v objekte jedinečné a unikátne priestory.

The Diploma Thesis aims to redevelop the Masaryk station. The above-mentioned poly functional object is meant to be located in the area of the Czech post office. The current state of surrounding of the Masaryk station including its adjacent buildings is considerably neglected.The redevelopment project derives from the design offering urban solution of the area in question that had been prepared earlier. The re-developed object (as designed in the Diploma project) not only completes the silhouette of Masaryk Station but also functions as the entrance gate to the newly created urban area. The architecture of the new object does not interfere with the dominance of the ancient and culturally important station buildings. On the outside, it looks conservative and connects well with the surrounding buildings. The inner side is glassed with the light external cadding, opening onto the inside; it becomes alive with its own ecosystem of life. Poly functional object also fits well with the newly designed platform. Individual object´s facilities complement the Masaryk station, making it more vivid. They are architectonically intertwined and it is their unity that gives birth to the unique and special premises.
