Série nožů

Abstract

Projekt se zabývá návrhem série tří kuchyňských nožů, které tvarově vychází z japonských nožů a současně mají osobitý vzhled. Chtěla jsem ve své práci zachovat něco z dlouhé tradice japonského nožířství a současně reflektovat potřeby a zkušenosti evropských uživatelů. Výsledkem je syntéza japonského a evropského přístupu. Návrh se zaměřuje na ergonomii, volbu vhodných materiálů i odpovídající estetické provedení. Důraz je také kladen na vzájemnou provázanost jednotlivých nožů v sérii a vytvoření jednotného výrazu.

The project deals with the design of a series of three kitchen knives, which are based on Japanese knives and at the same time have a distinctive appearance. In my project, I wanted to preserve something from the long tradition of Japanese cutlery and at the same time reflect the needs and experiences of European users. The result is a synthesis of Japanese and European approaches. The design focuses on ergonomics, the choice of materials and the appropriate aesthetic design. Emphasis is also placed on the interconnection of individual knives in series and the creation of a unified expression.
