PIVOVAR SEDLEC - KONVERZE AREÁLU

Abstract

Areál pivovaru v Sedlci zachycuje vývoj stavebního umění od raného středověku až po industriální architekturu 19. století. Jeho konverze a rozšíření o novostavbu zdůrazňuje průmyslový charakter objektu a doplňuje jej o náplň odpovídající 21. století, která by umožnila další vývoj historicky hodnotného komplexu a zároveň pomohla využít potenciál turisticky atraktivní lokality kutnohorska.

Brewery complex in Sedlec depicts a development of building technologies since the early Middle Ages all the way to the 19th century industrial architecture. The conversion as well as the newly designed building underline the industrial nature of the site and it adds new functions which are appropriate to the needs of the 21st century. Conversion should allow future development of the historically significant building site and also increase potential to bring in more tourism into the attractive Kutná Hora region.
