Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce je vytvoření urbanistického konceptu koordinovaných úprav hlavních městských prostorů historického centra Prahy. Práce se zabývá upevněním pozice vybraného území v hierarchii města a zkvalitněním veřejných prostranství, která se v něm nachází. Detailně řeší vybrané prostory v rámci vymezeného území. Definuje, čím se tyto prostory vyznačují a určuje jejich specifickou roli v rámci celku. Vybraným prostorům navrhuje konkrétní řešení úprav.

The thesis deals with creating an urban concept of coordinated adjustments of the main city spaces within the historical centre of Prague. Furthermore, the scope of the thesis comprises reinforcing the position of a selected area in the city hierarchy and improving the quality of the contained public spaces. The work designs particular spaces within the frame of a designated area. Distinguishing features of these spaces are defined along with its specific purpose in the whole. Selected spaces receive concrete suggestions for modifications.
