Generování strukturovaných sítí v radiální turbíně

Abstract

Cílem práce je vytvořit strukturovanou síť pro výpočet proudění ve vhodně zvolené radiální turbíně. Geometrie je dána ve formátu STEP (formát souboru používaný pro převod informací mezi CAD systémy) , byl tedy vyvinut skript, který je schopen získat ze STEP souboru informace o geometrii turbíny, odtud vypočíst okrajové podmínky pro síťový generátor a následně síť vytvořit. Skript je taktéž schopen mírných úprav geometrie, čehož bylo v práci také využito.

The goal of this thesis is to create a structured mesh for fluid dynamics computation in a chosen radial turbine given by the STEP format. Within this thesis, a script was developed to obtain the information about the turbine geometry from the STEP file (STEP file is a CAD file format, usually used to share 3D models between users with different CAD systems). Based on the information from STEP, the script can obtain the boundary conditions for the mesh generator and generate the mesh. The script is also able to edit the geometry of the turbine in some way. This can be for example used to simplify the geometry.
