Bývalá teplárna Malešice - Studentský dům

Abstract

Diplomní práce navazuje na architektonicko-urbanistickou studii rozsáhlého území Teplárny Malešice v Praze 10, ve které byl navržen vysokoškolský kampus pro téměř 30 000 studentů, zahrnující studentské ubytování i sportovní vybavení. Tento projekt zpracovává budovu studentského centra - domu, který je srdcem v uspořádané zástavbě mezi fakultami. Hmotový koncept svými proporcemi od samého počátku respektuje základní ideje a analýzy vytyčené předdiplomním projektem a reaguje na zachované technické artefakty ve svém bezprostředním okolí. Spojením nižší dlouhé hmoty a vertikálního rastru v pojetí fasád vzniká vyvážený a odlehčený architektonický výraz, jasně inspirovaný přilehlými dominantami komínů a industriálním geniem loci území. Vnitřní dispozice jednotlivých provozů odpovídají orientaci ke světovým stranám a směřují veřejnými prostory k otevřeným náměstím, přiléhajícím k jižní a východní fasádě objektu. Tato budova poskytuje prostorné zázemí pro potřeby návštěvníků všech fakult a slouží k realizaci jejich společenských, nebo například vzdělávacích aktivit.

The diploma thesis follows the architectural and urbanistic study of the vast area of the heating plant Malešice in Prague 10, where a university campus for almost 30,000 students was designed, including student accommodation and sport facilities. This is a project of the student centre - a house that is at the heart of an organized stucture of faculties. By its proportions, the concept respects the basic ideas and analyses set out in the pre-master project and responds to the preserved technical artifacts in its immediate surroundings. The combination of a rather long mass and a vertical grid in the concept of facades creates a balanced and lightweight architectural expression, clearly inspired by the adjacent chimneys and the industrial genius loci of the territory. The interior layouts of individual facilities correspond with the orientation to the cardinal points and are directed towards two open squares adjacent to the southern and eastern facades of the building. This building provides generous space for the needs of all campus visitors and serves to realize their social, or for example educational activities.
