Terminál vodní dopravy - konverze území bývalé holešovické elektrárny

Abstract

Projekt terminálu vodní dopravy v průmyslovém areálu bývalé elektrárny a tramvajové vozovny v pražských Holešovicích je založen na znovuotevření a zpřístupnění celého prostoru veřejnosti. Jedná se o ucelený architektonicko-urbanistický návrh, který byl zpracováván již v předdiplomním projektu a dále rozvíjen v této diplomové práci. Mezi nejvýznamnější prvky návrhu patří zejména zachování původní secesní budovy elektrárny a její postavení do centra celé oblasti. Samotná budova terminálu vodní dopravy se nachází na ploše navrhovaného náměstí, svou hmotou překračuje významnou bariéru - vlakovou trať (Praha - Děčín) a vyvyšuje se nad tok Vltavy. Přístup z náměstí je umožněn díky venkovnímu schodišti a po obou stranách budovy umístěnými platformami, které zakrývají železniční těleso. V hlavní budově je umístěna velmi různorodě diferencovaná coworkingová plocha, restaurace s panoramatickým výhledem na Vltavu, auditorium a sportovní část na střeše. Pod celou hmotou, u paty většího celku je umístěna přidružená funkční jednotka budovy kapitanátu s dílnou, přístavem a kotvištěm lodí (marinou). Celý tento provoz funguje a je funkčně provázán s budovou administrativy. Z kompozičního hlediska se jedná o utilitární celek směřující svou energií od náměstí k vodě. Dominantou je zejména převýšený konec nad hladinou řeky Vltavy. Návrh si jako hlavní cíl stanovil zachovat přirozenou funkci dominanty původní elektrárny a zároveň vytvořit důstojný a doplňující celek s množstvím nových funkcí čerpajících z identity místa.

The project of the water transport terminal in the industrial area of the former power station and tram depot in the Prague's quarter Holešovice is based on reopening and making the whole space accessible to the public. It is a comprehensive architectu- ral and urban design, which was already elaborated in the pre-diploma project and further developed in this thesis. The most important elements of the proposal include in particular the preservation of the original Art Nouveau building of the power plant and its position to the centre of the area. The building of the water transport terminal itself is located in the area of the proposed square, by its mass it crosses a significant barrier - the railway line (Prague - Děčín) and it rises above the Vltava river. Access from the square is enabled by the outdoor staircase and platforms placed on both sides of the building which cover the rail body. In the main building there is a very diversely differentiated coworking area, a restaurant with a panoramic view of the Vltava River, an auditorium and a sports section on the roof. Under the entire mass, at the base of a larger unit, there is an associated functional unit of the harbour master s unit with a workroom, a port, and anchorage (a marina). This whole operation works and is functionally linked to the administration building. From the compositional point of view, it is a utilitarian unit directed by its energy from square to water. The dominant feature is particularly the elevated end above the Vltava River. The main goal of the design proposal was set to preserve the natural function of the dominant original power plant and simulta- neously to create a dignified and complementary complex with a several new functions based on the place's identity.
