Galerie na Františku

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce je řešení stavby galerie moderního umění a přilehlého parteru. Návrh svou koncepcí vychází z charakteru místa a to nejen z hlediska urbanismu, ale i z hlediska potřeb dané lokality. Návrhem je ucelený komplex, kde je možné trávit volný čas, ať už v galerii, v nově vytvořeném parteru, v jedné ze dvou restaurací, v kavárně s posezením v podobě hlediště, na konferenci, nebo na kurzu pro veřejnost, který se v galerii odehrává. Umělecká díla může návštěvník obdivovat nejen uvnitř budovy, ale i v parteru budovy, na náplavce, nebo sledovat představení z hlediště u kavárny. Součástí galerie je i několik hotelových buněk. Jedná se o velmi atraktivní lokalitu s výhledem na Letnou a Pražský hrad, kterým se mohou návštěvníci potěšit ze střešní terasy nebo z restaurace. Mým cílem bylo revitalizovat toto atraktivní území a vytvořit zde nové centrum dění a možnost trávení volného času.

The aim of this thesis is the design of the Gallery of Modern Art and its surroundings. The concept of the design is based on the character of the place, not only in terms of urbanism, but also in terms of needs of this district. The building complex is a place, where you can spend your free time, whether in a gallery, in a newly formed parterre, in one of two restaurants in the cafe with seating in the form of an auditorium, at a conference or at a public class, which also takes place in the gallery. Works of art can be admired not only indoors but also in the building parterre, on the waterfront, or you can watch performances from the auditorium at the cafe. In the gallery there are also situated a few hotel rooms. This is a very attractive location with the view at the Letna and the Prague Castle, which visitors can admire from the rooftop terrace or restaurant. My goal was to revitalize this attractive area and create a new center of events and the possibility of spending free time.
