Krytý velodrom v areálu Strahov

Abstract

V rámci diplomové práce řeším návrh krytého velodromu do areálu Strahov v Praze. Práce plynule navazuje na předdiplomní projekt, který spočíval v urbanistickém řešení severní části areálu Strahov. Aktuální monumentální zástavba předdefinovala charakter urbanistického řešení, které zceluje území okolo Velkého sletového stadionu. Nově vzniklá zástavba plní hlavně sportovní funkci. Ovšem je doplněna i o další funkce jako je rekreace, komerce a administrativa. Nově vzniklý územní celek je rozdělen do několika výškových úrovní a vytváří tak "Město ve městě". Právě velodrom tvoří vstupní bránu do areálu ze západní části. Hmotové řešení respektuje morfologii terénu a plynule přechází do teréní vlny a komunikuje se zbytkem komplexu. Při návrhu byl kladen důraz na efektivitu a využitelnost sportovní haly, tak aby areál byl přitažlivý jak pro profesionální, tak i rekreační sportovce. Dispoziční řešení je členěno do dvou hlavních částí a to samotného velodromu a přidruženého sportovního zařízení. Oba provozy jsou navzájem propojeny a doplněny o komerční prostory. Objekt je navržen tak, aby nevytvářel slepá místa do centra nově vybudovaného komplexu "Město ve městě".

The topic of this thesis is the design of an indoor velodrome set into the Strahov area in Prague. This thesis is the continuation of a pre-diploma project focused on urbanistic development of the north part of Strahov. The current monumental development present there predefined the character of the urbanistic development, that ties together the whole area around the Great Strahov Stadium. The newly created development is meant to fulfil mainly sport needs, although it features further amenities for relaxation, commerce and administration. It is divided into several height levels, creating a so called "City in a city". The velodrome forms the entrance gate into the area from the west. The design of the complex respects the morphology of the terrain and gradually changes into a terrain wave and communicates with the rest of the complex. The goal of the design was to be as efficient and usable as possible to make it appealing to professional and recreational sportsman alike. The complex is divided into two main parts, an independent velodrome and affiliated sport amenities. Both parts are connected and complemented by commercial premises. The area is designed, so that it does not create blind spots in the centre of the newly constructed complex of "City in a city".
