Městský skleník s tržnicí

Abstract

Návrh se zabývá konverzí tramvajové vozovny z počátku dvacátého století nacházející se v pražských Košířích. Stavba je umístěna ve velmi frekventované lokalitě s výbornou dopravní obslužností. Její současná náplň a stav tomu, ale neodpovídají. Novou náplní objektu je tržnice s restauracemi doplněná přístavbou třípodlažního skleníku, který slouží k zásobování obyvatel Prahy 5 čerstvou lokální zeleninou. Skleník má zároveň funkci edukativní a funguje jako vzdělávací centrum v oblasti udržitelného rozvoje a městského pěstování. Vozovna spolu s přístavbou svými objemy vytvářejí nový veřejný prostor - náměstí, nové lokální centrum oblasti.

The design is about a conversion of a tram carriage from the beginning of the 20th century that is located in the area of Košíře in Prague. The building is located in a very busy location, which is very well connected with the rest of the city by the city transportation. However today's function and state do not accord to that fact. The new function of the carriage is a new marketplace with foodcourt. The building is also enhanced by a part of a three-storey greenhouse which should provide fresh local vegetables to the marketplace and to the people of Košíře during the whole year. The greenhouse has an educational function as well and it works as a centre of the sustainability and urban gardening. The carriage with its addition creates a new public space on the north side of the plot, right next to the Plzeňská street.
